This Saturday, August 22, art takes to the streets once again with Circuitos ZⓈONAMACO 03 | Roma-Condesa, an event that connects galleries, studios, and cultural projects through exhibitions, guided tours, talks, and other activities centered on contemporary art.
After exploring other areas of Mexico City, the program heads to Roma-Condesa, where much of the artistic activity takes place beyond museums and large venues. The idea is simple: check the program, pick a few spots, and go for a walk. Each visitor can create their own route and experience the exhibitions from the very spaces that produce and present them.

A tour to discover the city’s art
The event brings together 17 galleries, studios, and projects, with offerings ranging from photography and contemporary art to design, antiques, and collecting.
Among the exhibitions open to the public are “Fabrics of Humanity”, by Tyler Goldflower, and Lux Florum, by Pandora Graessl, at ALMANAQUE Fotográfica; Stage Fright: Instructions for Setting a Still Life on Fire, by Mariana Sánchez, in Ambar Quijano; and Between the Sky and the Concrete, a group exhibition curated by Daniela Elbahara, which will feature guided tours with artists and curators.

At Galerie Nordenhake, the exhibition 50 Years will be accompanied by a discussion with José Eduardo Barajas, Iñaki Bonillas, Dexter Dalwood, Silvia Gruner, Raúl Rueda, and Jerónimo Rüedi, moderated by María Minera. Meanwhile, OMR presents “Voluntary Repatriation”by Rubén Ortiz Torres, while Ricardo Reyes Arte opens its doors with Elipsis, by Héctor Falcón.
The tour also includes La Membrana, a group exhibition by Jovian Fine Art; The Balance of the Sublime, by Gabriela González, at LMI Gallery; Surfaces for the Present, at Terreno Baldío; and Mooni Gran Salón, which can be viewed at the Mooni Gallery locations in Roma and Condesa.
More Than Just Exhibitions
One of the highlights of Circuitos ZⓈONAMACO is that the experience isn’t limited to simply walking in and out of galleries. On Saturday, there will be meetings with artists, guided tours, demonstrations, panel discussions, and conversations that offer insight into the processes behind some of the artworks.
AmorettiLab, for example, will give a demonstration on applying patinas to metal; Terreno Baldío will host a roundtable discussion titled “The Transformation of Inherited Languages”; and Viriathus Antigüedades Vintage will hold a discussion on the art of collecting extraordinary objects.
There will also be open studios, such as Iker Ortiz’s, and specialized tours like those offered by Sangre de mi Sangre, which focus on the properties of stones.
Roma-Condesa as a meeting place
The opportunity to walk between venues is part of the experience. Rather than setting a mandatory route, Circuitos ZⓈONAMACO 03 | Roma-Condesa transforms various streets in the area into connection points between artists, gallery owners, collectors, and visitors.
The program begins at 9:00 a.m. at some venues and runs into the evening, so it’s worth checking the schedules in advance and selecting the activities that interest you most. In addition, the tour includes participating restaurants where you can take a break during your visit.
This Saturday, August 22, we invite you to explore Roma-Condesa with fresh eyes: step into a gallery you may not have known about, chat with the people behind an exhibition, and discover what’s happening right now in some of Mexico City’s art and design spaces.
